英语中有一些词语是用‘and’把两个单词连接起来，表达一个完整的意思，这种词语被称为‘‘成对词’’。这种词语可不能望文生义哦，一起来学习几个实用又有趣的成对词吧。

　　首先要注意的是， 成对词中前后的两个单词不能调换顺序，比如 'bride and groom'，新娘新郎。英文中不会换个顺序说 ‘'groom and bride'’。

　　1)life and death 解释某件事并没有那么重要和严重，其结果并不会影响你的生死：

　　“I understand that you are worried about not handing in your assignment on time, but please don't worry too much, it's not a matter of life and death.”
